Jacked Them All! | Team Trivia

So coming back from a major ass kicking from about 8 teams last night, the Tangent returned and decided to try a random name just for the hell of it.  The new name was No Phone Jacks in honor of the new iPhone 7 feature.

Our quizmaster was very worried because we only had 3 teams there and the rule is to have at least 4 to play otherwise it is cancelled.  We managed to find a fourth team of UTA students who had just finished studying.  Or so we thought.  So it was game on.

The first half we did pretty well and of course Aged & Confused with as killing it well.   After the halftime question the scores were:

34 - Aged & Confused
24 - No Phone Jacks
17 - Lucky Kermits
14 - Smart Asymptotes

The second half went ok as we hanged in there and stayed around 10 below the leader.  Those scores were:

53 - Aged & Confused
43 - No Phone Jacks
24 - Lucky Kermits
14 - Smart Asymptotes

So we reached the final question and we had to list 3 of 5 magazines that start with the letter 'P' that were in the top ten magazines in 2015.  We managed to get the three correct and bet enough get to dominate the game.  The final scores were:

58 - No Phone Jacks
47 - Aged & Confused
34 - Lucky Kermits
14 - Smart Asymptotes

This match goes to my co-captain, Heather as she ruled hitting most of the questions.  Very outstanding!!

See you all next week.

First Snapchat, Then XBOX Kinect And Now Amazon Fire | Rant....Kinda

So we are going to watch a show on our Amazon Fire and I had to do a search for the show.  So I hit the microphone and said, "Fear of the Walking Dead".  This is what the screen shows:

I say, "What?!" and my wife just busts out laughing.  She then said that I must annunciate.  Sigh.  So this damn thing could not understand me and thought I said "You're the Walking Dead".   Oh boy.

She then tried it and it worked.  So is my Amazon Fire racist?   Hmmmm.... First Snapchat, Then XBOX Kinect And Now Amazon Fire.

Of course, I am kidding, but damn!

Ok.  Enough of that.

Noted Conversations | New Sweet Tea

So we are out having our Spades Meetup and while we are waiting on a newly shuffled hand to be dealt this quick conversation happened:

Dianne, My Game Partner, notices a sign on an adjacent table and says, "New Sweet Tea?"
Me: New? Sweet Tea?
Dianne: Yeah, They have New Sweet Tea!
Me: But Wait!  Didn't they have sweet tea before?
Dianne: Yes!!!   I guess they got a clean pot!

I guess you had to be there.

Proud Of My Baby

Anyone who is a big fan of Star Wars who has a spouse who is ok with it will understand this story.

It is a proud day for Wil as he discovers that he has crossed over his wife.  Now this may not be verbatim and I apologize for that, but you should get what I am saying.

So, I was walking Da Crittaz this morning, but before I did, I send my wife a picture via text.  When Tyson, Violet and I returned, the following happened:

Her: "I am mad at you!"

Me: Turned the corner and look towards her with a very puzzling face just running through my mind all of the possible things I could have done wrong from waking up to coming back in from the walk.

Her: "I saw what you sent me and I got it!", with a frumpy look on her face.

Me:  Remembering what I did, I bursted into laughter and said, "YES!!!!"

You can't imagine the joy that over came me at that moment.  My wife got........A Star Wars Reference Joke.......by just looking at a picture.

She said that as soon as she saw the picture she did a good chuckle and then said, "Aww Man!!" or something like that as she couldn't believe that she actually got it without thinking about it.

I am so proud of my baby.  So, so proud.  Throughout 17 years, more and more of my influence is rubbing off on her.  😁👍🏾❤️👏🏾

Here is the infamous pic that made this all possible:

Anyways, that is the story I wanted to share to you all today.  Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.  Probably not, but thanks for reading.

If any of you have a similar story that you would like to share, please leave in comments below or email me at becauseimwil@gmail.com.

Until next time.......

Thank You, Mr. President! Thank You. | A Centrist View

As me and my wife sat.  Ignoring all the other tasks that stood before us.  We watched and listened as this man came forward after so many amazing speeches before him and resurrected the young senator from Illinois who spoke at the 2004 DNC convention in Boston, Mass.

My wife was starting in tears and my heart started to get heavy as President Obama approached the podium and we became focused as he spoke.  I have felt pride in a president before with Clinton and believe it or not Reagan.   I even felt pretty good about Bushes as well.  Because I managed to see how good their hearts are despite the rough times they faced and decisions they tried that went bad.   I knew that all of them truly love this nation.   Oh Carter's my boy, too.  Still is, but I digress.  None matched the pride in how I felt and still feel about Barack Obama.  I'm not going to lie, as a black man I felt an extra sense of pride because, like black folks much older than I, I never felt that I would see a black man, let alone a minority, make it into the White House in my lifetime, but it did happen.

Did I vote for him?  Yes.  Because I knew in my heart that he was the one.  Especially since McCain and Romney sorely disappointed me by trying so hard to be so, so conservative instead of focusing on the true objective, America.

Anyway, when Obama made it to the White House I started to look beyond the color and start observing him as I did every other president.  When he spoke about all he wanted to get done, I was like whoa, bruh!   I am not sure if you can accomplish all of that, but he would be damned if he didn't try.

Obama was optimistic and determined, but he was realistic as well.  He knew the hard battle he was going to face in his future, but he fought on.  Now here he is after delivering the same type of amazing speech he brought 12 years ago.  Did he achieve everything?  No!  As he said, "There is still so much I want to do!", but we all knew how hard it was going to be, especially with the congress he was working with.

So now we we moving on.  Approaching November 2016.  I will say my goodbyes later, but for now we all must remain focused and (I can't believe I am going to say this) do as Senator Ted Cruz suggested, "Vote Your Conscience".  Follow your instincts and your heart.   Do what you feel is right and GET OUT THERE & VOTE!!!!!

If you haven't seen President Obama's speech last night, I have it here below.  Also if you want to see or re-see the other speeches from the DNC Philly 2016 , go to the Democratic National Convention's YouTube Channel.

Enjoy

2016 RNC - Day 1

The time has come for the 2016 Republican National Convention.   Taking place in Cleveland, OH, this convention is expected to be pretty interesting and could become chaotic.  The big new before the convention started was that a good amount of people decided to sit this event out including, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, John McCain and the entire Bush family.  There is a rumor that Laura Bush may endorse Hillary Clinton and that would be pretty interesting.  Newt Gingrich kind of said that all of the people that are not attending should just get over it.  Wee doggie!

Anyway, the convention started with chaos as the Never Trump movement tried to call for a Role Call vote and change the committee rules.  It got shut down and a lot of them walked out.  I thought it was a brave and foolish attempt.  If they had succeeded, it would have turned into more chaos with the uncertainty of who would end up becoming the nominee.  I feel that the committee foresaw this and decided to nip it in the bud.

So on with the show as after a spectacular national anthem was sang, speaker after speaker came up and made their voice heard.  From Scott Baio (Yes, Charles In Charge spoke) to Sen. Joni Earnst, William Robertson to Rudy Guliani.  All of them spoke with some bravado and tried their hardest to beat down the Democrats and win the delegates support.

Below are some videos shared from YouTube channels ABC and other news channels.  29 total.  oh can pick and choose or watch them all.

Enjoy

Oh and there is some bonus stuff you probably already heard about.

Grazin' Chi | Da Crittaz

Hey folks, Violet of Da Crittaz here.

So daddy has caught me doing one of my favorite things.  I don't know what it is, but I find outside grass so yummy.  I know it should be rare for us dogs to munch on it, but me and my brother do it almost all of the time!  Not very often does my mommy and daddy see us do this, but in the past they have wondered.  Well now it has been made possible for you all to see one my fun habits.

The video below is not eventful, but it is kind of entertaining.  Enjoy!

Changing of the Guard | A Centrist View

Congratulations to Theresa May is now the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.  She has won this post by default when her opponent, Andrea Leadsom had dropped out of the race.

The reason for Leadsom's withdrawal is most likely because of a comment she made that she is more equipped to be the UK's Prime Minister because she is a mother and May was not.  A pretty low blow from Leadsom and even folks in her own party wanted to leave the race and she did.

Theresa May will be the second female PM in UK history after Margaret Thatcher.  She plans to proceed with the Brexit and move the UK onto a bright future.

I honestly am not sure how this will impact the US, let alone the world.  I never understood Britain politics.   I guess we will have to just observe.  Well that is all I have on that for now.  I am sure I will give my opinions on her career in the future.

Anger & Frustration Continues | A Centrist View

"So what?  Is this a summer thing or something?",  This is something I asked my wife today as I learned of this matter that happened outside of Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN.  I just don't get why these things continue to happen when an pandemic as been revealed.

If you haven't heard by now, Philando Castile was driving with his girlfriend and her 4 year old daughter just outside of St. Paul, MN when they were pulled over by police.  The reason?  They were told they had a broken taillight.  Now, from what I understand, when the officer got to the car it seemed like things were going pretty well.   He explain why they were pulled over.  Philando acknowledged that he understood and he revealed that he had a concealed handgun license.  The officer then asked for his license and registration and as Castile moves in compliance, the cop yells and shoots Castile 4 times in the arm.  During the chaos, the girlfriend/fiancé decided to do a live feed to document what has happened while continuing to comply with the officer's orders.  All this happens with her 4 year old daughter in the back.

From what I gather from the video, the woman was shocked and scared and the officer was freaked out and upset.  I feel he was very upset with himself because he knows he messed up.  That kind of came evident with his yelling and saying over and over, "I told him to keep his hands up!"  I think that not only was he yelling that to her he was trying to convince himself what he fell has happened, but he definitely knew reality.  That's my opinion.

After learning about all this I became more saddened and eventually angry.   Yes, I turned into an Angry Black Man.  Now not like the stereotypical one who stares and yells all the time, just more subuded, yet the face shows the emotion at times.

One thing I know is after Sterling and Castile, after all of the officer shootings last year, and after the decades of racial profiling, I am absolutely scared!!!  My wife is even more scared that her black husband could be pulled over and killed even when he is compliant.  So I don't know how to be anymore.  I now just drive or walk as carefully and as unsuspiciously as possible.  It has become way to tricky now.

Below is the video of the aftermath.  Take a look and derive your own opinion.

#AltonSterling | A Centrist View

I just don't know what else to say.  Some way, some how, this needs to stop.  I just don't understand how something like this can continue to happen.  If he had a gun, either of them could have easily disarmed him before shooting him.  If they really felt they had to shoot him, why not shoot him in a not fatal spot.  I just don't get why that is so hard to do.

Some of you may have seen the videos.  If not, take a look at this playlist for yourself and form your own opinion.

I just feel that something else could have been done to defuse the situation.  Sigh!!!!  So Angry!!

Movie to Marathon (Independence Day) | CocoaVision

Well, I will be honest with you.   This has been a pretty rough day.  Not rough like a extreme issues that you can think of.  More like first world problems rough.   Has some problems that a couple I was able to solve and other that will have to wait until later.  Also, have a really major project to complete that now the timeline has been crunched down more making it a bit more stressful to deal with.   Oh well.  I always say I will make it through and I usually do.

Anyways, normally, on July 4, I watch the apocalyptic film Independence Day by Roland Enmerich.  Today I am still going to play it, but this time it will act as white noise while I work on this project.   As I progress I made a discovery which helped me make a new decision.   I will make this single movie event into a marathon.  Along with ID4, I am going to watch The Day After Tomorrow and Godzilla.  What do these three films have in common?   They were all directed by Roland Emmerich.  I have been a fan of Roland since I saw Universal Soldier and Stargate.  The fan level was sealed with Independence Day.

So there you go.   All there of those films will be played, as white noise, while I work on my project.   And yes, I will miss the fireworks, but there is just so much to do.   I do hope to see the ID4 sequel, Resurgence, very soon.

Have a great and safe Independence  Day!!!!

Defiant

USS DEFIANT

Defiant (dih-fayh-uh nt):
adjective
  1. characterized by defiance; boldly resistant or challenging: a defiant attitude.
Origin: 1830–40; < French défiant, Old French, present participle of defier to defy; see -ant

I have been told that I have been really defiant recently.  I was told by people that I have a tendency to defy or challenge almost anything.  Some would get frustrated because by it and others would get confused.  On the flip side, I was told that a positive part of it is that, along with my stubbornness, it helped me fight and defeat cancer.  I guess it carried on from there.
After I learned about that I wondered, am I truly defiant as in being difficult, daring, or a bold resistance to authority or opposing force (Definition of Defiance)?  I don't know, maybe.  I know my body is pretty stubborn to let go because it fights almost every ailment that come before it.   I am also defiant in a way of opposing my neuropathy and move as much as I can, almost acting like it is not even there.

I don't know.  Maybe I am in some way, I do have a tendency to challenge and defy, but only when necessary, in my view.   I guess though I am not difficult enough to lose much relationships except for maybe one, but I don't think defiance had anything to do with that one.
Anyway, I am going to have to move on and observe my own behavior.  Maybe I will gain a better understanding about myself.

#LoveIsLove

I am still trying hard to wrap my head around what happened at the Pulse Club in Orlando, FL.   I know we are hearing from news reports, witnesses, the victims and the investigation itself, but I fear we will never learn the true reason on why this has happened and we will continue with the Gun Control/Radical Islam Debate.

Well I mainly want to show some of the awesome photos and videos I have came across.  I hope they impress you, too.

In Fear

In fear.  Hmm.

BTW, the whole it is time for a 3rd party thing is a vicious cycle.  I am never opposed to a third, fourth or whatever additional party, but understand that is one or both of the major party systems were to fall, we will resort back to a two party system.

I know that sounds pessimistic, but history has already shown this.

If I truly went with my gut, I wouldn't vote at all.  I guess I am voting out of obligation or guilt.  Shame me.

Clinton, Johnson, Stein or Trump.  Just not fully behind any of them.   I will continue to listen and observe and make my decision in October (hopefully).

It is funny though how the folks of the non-establishment parties are saying the system is broken.  Their not wrong, but.  It is funny.

Podcast Discoveries

So I have stumbled into 6 new podcasts that I found very fascinating.  5 of them are from the famous NPR.  I encourage all to check them out.  I listen to them on Stitcher Radio, but you should be able to get them on almost every place that plays podcasts including iTunes and the NPR 1 App.

Here are the shows (in order of discovery) and their descriptions:

Invisibilia (Latin for invisible things) is about the invisible forces that control human behavior – ideas, beliefs, assumptions and emotions. Co-hosted by Lulu Miller, Hanna Rosin and Alix Spiegel, Invisibilia interweaves narrative storytelling with scientific research that will ultimately make you see your own life differently.

From WHYY and NPR, Fresh Air is one of public radio's most popular programs. Hosted by Terry Gross, the podcast features in depth conversations with guests from all different industries and backgrounds. This Peabody Award-winning podcast is available on demand six days a week.

The Hidden Brain helps curious people understand the world – and themselves. Using science and storytelling, Hidden Brain's host Shankar Vedantam reveals the unconscious patterns that drive human behavior, the biases that shape our choices, and the triggers that direct the course of our relationships.

Puerto Rico happened and it looks like Clinton is pretty much in arms reach of the nomination clinch.   If she is able to pull out a California win (or maybe even not) she will clinch.

First Class Back

Hey folks.  I have been meaning to post about my first class since returning school........again.

Me and my wife have decided that I should try out a class to see how well my processing is and see how I do in a class post-transplant.

The class we chose was Introduction to Sociology where I took at Tarrant County College (love that school BTW).  The instructors were switched, but the professor we ended up with was not bad at all.  She was tough though, in a sweet way.   She showed tough love towards her students (as it should be).   She did not tolerate any electronic devices active in the classroom unless she instructs us to being on for a class activity.

We had to do a total of 8 quizzes with multiple chapters in each.  Those were tough, because it was totally reliant on the reading.  The lectures went too long to be used in the quizzed before the due dates.  We made do.

Next, we had a choice of doing two observational papers, where if you did both, you got extra credit for the second one, but they were scheduled and due at different times.  You can do the first one and if you are not pleased with the grade on that one you could do the second one which is due much later.   If you chose, to just do the second one, you are stuck with that grade and no chance for extra credit.   I ended up just doing the second paper and did pretty well.  So only lost out on extra credit.  Won't do that again. I Ike extra credit.  😊

There were also class participation assignments we did , which could be effected if you simply miss class.  You just had to be there and participate and you got points.  Should be easy right?   Kind of.   I got lucky though because I missed two classes due to illness and I managed to only miss some lecture, not participation assignments.

Then lastly were the exams.  One Midterm and One Final.   The exams were long.  Multiple Choice and True/False.  75 questions each.  The good part is that they weren't cumulative.   Meaning that the midterm was only on the first half of the semester and the final was only on the second half.  Pretty nice huh?   I ended up doing better than expected.

Overall I did great!  Achieved an "A" and I proved that my processing is at least good enough for school.

The next test is taking a math or tech like class.  This class is called Programming Fundamentals I. This class is on learning programming using the language of C++.  I KNOW RIGHT!!!!  I have probably lost my mind, especially since I am taking it this summer (8 weeks), but it really will be a good test of my processing skill and I really miss programming.

So there you go.   Recent update in the college world.   I will work to blog more often.

Until then........

Remembering Our Sister, Bella

Hello folks.  Today is a pretty tough day because this is the day, 2 years ago, we lost our sister, Bella.  For those of you who don't know, Bella was a long-haired, black and white chihuahua.  She was a chi who demanded a lot of attention from her human counterparts.  She always presented herself a princess and she was an influential leader.  We will talk about our experience with her as we remember it.

Hi.  I am Lucas.  I am the oldest of Da Crittaz and the only feline of the crew.  They describe me as a grey tabby.  Pretty simple I guess.  I actually lived with my humans as the lone animal in the house and I was happy.  We would play at times and I would sit by this window and see this flying creature stop by and sit outside of the window.  I don't know what my deal was, but I felt that I needed to get to that creature, but I didn't, so I would just sit there and make these off sounds.

Not long after did the little creature entered the home and was pretty much everywhere.  she was getting into my stuff, she would stay where she should and she would even start bothering me.  This would go on for a long, long time, and after a while I had to make a decision.  Take her down or just try to live with her.  I when with the latter, but I did let my human parents know that I was not very happy about it.  I really thought it was going to be just me, but it's alright because we ended up becoming besties.  I love my little sister and I miss her dearly.  Rest in piece, Bella.

Tyson here!  I guess it's my turn.  I am what they call a mix breed specifically called a Chiweenie, which is combination of a Chihuahua and a Dachshund.  Kind of complex, but I live with it.  I came into the family I think in 2006 and I was 4 months old when that happened.  My daddy was the first to hold me and it felt nice.  They had to think about taking me in or I may have had to go to a place called the shelter and that didn't sound good according to the other humans in the building.  They came back and decided to take me with them.  I was pleased, but when we got home, I found a surprise.  A little dog that was about the same colors as me with a lot of hair.  She only came to about 2/3rds my size and she was pretty hyper (at times).  My new parents called her Bella.  There was another one in the house, but I don't think he was of the same kind as me.  They called him Lucas.  I didn't know what to make of this and my anxiety was very confused.

We would play and it was very hard to keep up with Bella and I had a blast with Lucas because we would wrestle a lot.  I like wrestling. It didn't not take us long to get used to each other so all was ok.   When me and her went to the park I would play around with the other dogs, but she would just hand around the humans.  Sometimes I would hear a loud sharp sound come out of her and I would think that she's in trouble.  So  I would run to her and find other dogs surrounding her.  I would work to get them away from her and check if she was ok.  I had to be a good little brother to her and I felt I was.

Years later, my daddy had got really sick and it took me a long time to figure it out because he would be gone for days at a time and when he came back home, I could not be near him at all.  It made me sad and worried, but it look like mom and big sis worked to help me feel better.

There were sometimes had to stay at other places for a while and then return home, but one day I did return home and later noticed that my sister was not here.  I was confused and started to get worried again.  I went by her little house and she was not there. I went to her bed and she was not there.  I went to mommy and Bella even was not there.  I became sad and for days I would just lay on her bed.  I later accepted that she was gone and I had to adapt to being the lone dog in the house, but that didn't not last for long!

A while later, mommy came home with a new dog.  She had the long hair like Bella, but was not the same shade as her and she only had one color.  Mommy called her Violet.  She was pretty timid at first and I was too excited to figure her out and possibly get her to play with me even though I was still sad about big sis.  She later became a bit snippy, which I remember from big sis when she wanted me to leave her alone and then would come buy me and like me very much.  She then started to lay on top of me and eventually played with me.  It was a new adjustment, but no matter what I do or try, Violet was going to do what Violet wanted to do.  Just like my big sis, Bella.  I am happy now, but I still think about her from time to time.  Daddy did come completely back home and was doing so much better and my hair had turned grey and even white in certain places.  Mommy said it was because of stress and a lot of worry/sadness.  I am good though and I still have a lot of life left in me.  Goodbye big sis.  You taught me a lot and I will never forget you.

What up people?!  I am called Violet!  They say I am a long-haired tan chihuahua and I was born in 2012.  I was rescued from a breeder and I was taken to a new place with a dog very different than the ones I live with before.  He was a bit bigger and he seemed to have a few features like me.  My parents said that he was part of what I am and a part something else.  That's sounds complicated, but oh well!  I took me a while to get used to the new digs, but when i did, I had a blast.  I got to run around as much as I can and I gave a lot of licks to a lot of people.

They talk about another dog like me who was here and then went away a little before I arrived.  Her name was Bella and they said I would have liked her.  They said there were some things similar about us and some things very different.  The biggest difference was that she was very prissy and was like a princess and I was very tomboyish.  They say I am not a replacement and they are very happy to have me in the house.  Bella sounded like a very good dog and I do believe that we would have gotten along very well.  Would have been nice to have a big sister, but I am good with my situation now.  Rest in piece, Bella.  Where ever you are and I hope you are here to guide me as I move on in the household you once ruled.

So there you go!  Our experiences with a great sister to have.  She will be forever in our hearts and we will never forget her.

Nebraska And West Virginia

So even though Cruz and Kasich the primaries and caucuses for the Republican Party must go on.  I suppose it has to because anyone can still be written in, but it shows that it does not matter because Trump still dominated and won both the Nebraska and West Virginia Primaries.

As for the democrats, Bernie Sanders did pretty well, but like most states, only recieved a small or equal portion of delegates with Clinton.  I have said it before and I'll say it again, I really don't like and understand the delegate process.  It is so discouraging and could cause people to feel that their vote truly does not matter.  I don't know.  I will still continue to obsereve the process and see where it goes.

Keep getting out their to vote and make your voices heard!!!

Feel free to comment about this and the other entries.

Political Stories (Video) - April 28th thru 30th

Former Speaker of the House, John Boehner has some choice words for Presidential Candidate, Ted Cruz.

Boehner has been one of those folks who tries hard to be civil and cooperating, but will speak his mind when he deems it necessary.  Oh myyy.  One of the reasons why he resigned the position.

Next, AJ+ gets together with modern day socialists.  Curious on what they are about?

Along with brunch, there was a lot to marinate with this information from these Socialists.

This past week at the West Wing, President Obama made a brief visit in England and Germany before handling some important business back here at home and then prepare for this years correspondence dinner hosted by Larry Wilmore.

And finally, Our Weekly Address

Um Occupied... – Fails of the Weak #293

From Rooster Teeth, Makers of Red Vs Blue and RWBY.  Video Gamers from all over submit their crazy game fails to Achievement Hunter.  Most are just bizarre glitches that do happen from time to time.  Very hilarious and in my opinion, way too short.

Enjoy.........

The Swastika Switch

I have known that this symbol had a strong cultural history, but never know the true information of it.  This is just a taste of the Swastika's history.  It is very sad to see something that was suppose to be very beautiful, may be tarnished in eternity.

Very Sad, Very Unfortunate.

Movie Review - The Martian

So I had my reservations about this film because as usual, if the preview (yes I said preview, not trailer) does not sell me then I most likely will not show interest in the movie.  My wife on the other hand was really for it and really wanted to see it.  I was not nice and kept blocking is seeing the film.  Well I finally broke down and decided to watch it and I was not disappointed.

When I watched the Golden Globes, they place it in comedy/musical.  I understood why......in a way.  It had it's funny parts and it really kept my attention.

I say definately check out this film.  You should enjoy it.

Which One Doesn't Belong?

This was pretty fun.  I really enjoy the outdoor games or man on the street segments.

A Rainy Week Story

A rainy week story, as told by Tyson:  "I'm going to melt. I peed a jet stream and now I'm howling at the door, all in 6 seconds flat. Why do you hate me?  (Scratching for dear life). Let me in!  My feet are wet!  Why aren't you letting me in RIGHT NOW?  I'm melting!"

A rainy week story, as told by Violet:  "It's raining!  The world is alive with wonder!  I'm alive!  We're all alive!  It's amazing!  But why are you calling for me?  We've only been out here 6 seconds!??!!  Why don't you want me to have fun?  I have mud and leaves and puddles to explore!  Tyson, come play!  I'm alive with wonder!"

Guess who needs a bath?  Just because she's adorable, furry, blonde, and 6lbs, does not make her clean 😜

Movie Review - Deadpool

Oh my goodness!  I knew this film was going to be amazing, but this went well beyond my expectations.   The intro credits was wonderful.  The dialogue was too much. Even Colossus was very good.  Plus the soundtrack was fun.   A definite must see IMO, but please do not bring your kids, unless you just don't care.

Ryan Reynolds was, of course, the best choice for this and future projects!

New Hampshire Primary Results

So Bernie Sanders receives enough votes to technically win the New Hampshire Primary, but the delegates made it a bit confusing.  As you see below, according to the rules of the delegates, both Clinton and Sanders tied in delegates with 15.

As for the Republicans, It wasn't confusing as Trump won both the votes and delegates with 10.  Kasich pulls off a surprise second place showing with 4 delegates and Rubio, Cruz & Bush tied with 3.

After a very poor showing this primary, Chris Christie and Carly Fiorina have dropped out of the presidential race.  Actually they said suspend, but I think they are done.

Alright, so coming up is the PBS/CNN Democratic Debate in Milwaukee, WI tonight at 8 pm.
Then The CBS Republican Debate in Greenville, SC.
Then of course the Nevada Caucus and South Carolina Primary

Stay Tuned!
