Wow, we (the Project Team) take a trip to Sunnyvale, CA for what is called a Shakedown. This is when a new project is introduced and us along with 2 other teams. The project when well so the rest of the year should go well (at least for that project).

The fun started on the last day when we headed up to San Francisco for some site seeing. We started out at Pier 33 to go see The Rock (Alcatraz Prison). Of course we had to get thereby ferry. Some of the guys were sea sick, but made it okay. Alcatraz was very cool to see, but the best part was at the cellhouse, where we went through a audio tour explaining all the parts of the cellhouse.
We also saw a great deal of Seagulls including a few that would follow the boat. Pretty creepy.

Next we went to San Fran's Hard Rock cafe on Pier 39 where we had some saweet steak & burgers. Then we went to the store to collect on some Hard Rock Merchendise.
We later went in search for our travel mates to the head out to the great music store called, Ameoba. Before Ameoba, Jay & I went to one other thing.

Next was the famous Lombard Street. If you are not familiar of this street, it is the most curvy street in one block. Oh and it is steep. Man it took us a very long time to find this street, but after some help with a personal banker and mapquest we found it.
Once we got there Jay opted to get out of the car and take pictures. He didn't want to actually drive it. "What?", I said, "I'm freaking driving this. The speed limit was 5 MPH, but I went 15. I know terrible, but it was fun.
We later went to the Ameoba Super Music Store. Man, what an amazing place to see. It can get crazy for you can spend hours in the store and not spend too much money. Very nice discounts on CDs, DVD, and even Vinyl. All I got was one DVD set, Samurai Jack Season 1 for $7.50. Very nice. I plan to get more whenever we return to the Bay Area.
So San Francisco was nice. Don't think I would live there, but it is great to visit.
I love me some San Fran! I'll be your porter for the next trip if you need one!
