Tha Schwartz

Just got home from a day at the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History. Our first stop was the Star Wars Exhibit that showed some great models of some of the buildings, vehicles, and people. One of the impressive things they had was an interactive activity where you would try to maintain one of three scenarios on the planet Tatooine; maintain the production of the moisture farm with Luke's Aunt and Uncle, conduct a secure business system at the spaceport Mos Eisley, or lead the Jawas in various business transactions out in the Dune Sea. I did the Spaceport scenario and didn't do very well, but it was fun & interesting.

We couldn't spend too much time there for we had to head to the planetarium, where we learned a bit more about outer space. I was fun, but was as short as the planetarium show we saw at Dallas Fair Park last year.

After that we headed over to the Cowgirl Museum, where we saw some nice stuff about cowgirls past and present. We saw a 10 minute movie about the history of Cowgirls, show about the everyday life of a cowgirl, and saw a few models and brief stories of famous cowgirls including Annie Oakley.

Over all the day was very nice. When my mother-in-law comes down later in the month maybe she and the girls will go back to the museum to check out the Cowgirls.

Later..............
