Oh my God. These folks are crazy with this gaming craze to get one on the day of release. It's just as funny to me as people who go see midnight showing of you horror, sci-fi, or comic book movie.
I have seen people camp out a week before the release of the system. People don't even do that for Black Friday.
It's amazing to see what priorties people have and my are seriously out of wack.
Am I a gamer? Yes. Will I get a PS3? Eventually.
But I will never resort to what I have witnessed this pass week.

Dude, I thougth of you last night!! I drove by the Denton Best Buy & there were all these dumb ass people camped out in tents...just waiting. Hosers!! I'll never understand devotion like that.
