Football '10

I don't know what it is, but I am very stoked about this Football season. I'm not sure if I share thoughts with the commentators when they say that Green Bay is a strong prediction for the Super Bowl. I would loose it if they do make it and come down here to DFW. I say DFW because the Cowboys do not play football in Dallas. They play in a suburb call ARLINGTON!!!! About 20 miles west of Dallas near Rangers Stadium and Six Flags Over Texas. Anyways, If I had the money and Green Bay made the Super Bowl I would definately go, but watching the game from home is just as good and more comfortable.

I am very excited about this season. It feel like a good one where a lot of teams will be close to each other in the standings. I'm also looking forward to Fantasy Football (as I am every year). I think I will perform even better than last year, where I finished 5th. I know that's not saying much, but usually I finish 9th out of 10 or 12 teams so last year was quite a move forward. I looking for 2nd or 3rd, but it will be rough. I finished 1st in 2 other leagues and I hope to repeat those.

I have no prediction for this years Super Bowl, but I will place the Packers as strong possibility.

Enjoy the season, folks..............

Visiting the In-Laws

So this past week(end) Jen and I took a trip up to Minnesota to visit her family. The drive was a bit exhausting, but fun rolling with my wife and the dogs. BTW, thanks Jen for setting up the pit stop in KC, we really needed that.

We visited with some of the folks up there including Grandma Crouch, the Cabonaras (Don't worry I'm not tired of seeing you guys yet, ;)), Tonya, Andrea and of course Jen's immediate family.

One of the big parts of the visit was for Cooper and Tyson to meet (Bella tagged along). Man that was a rough and entertaining event. They played well and sometimes faught. We later determined that the fighting was caused by food and toys. Live and learn. There were occasions that Tyson would come to the rescue of Bella, even when she didn't need it. The most entertaining thing to me was when both Tyson and Cooper decided to gang up on Te'. Didn't quite work out as they hoped. I think that if Aleisha hadn't intervened, Te' would have messed them up.

One of the other cool visits were to the Hubbell House in Mantorville, MN. This was a very nice resturant Grandma Crouch took us to after church. Great food and vegatarian/vegan friendly. I highly recommend folks to check out this place if you haven't already.

We returned home with a lot of goodies given to us by Grandma Crouch, which I'm sure Jenny will put to use. She's great at that. I'll admit that I was very nervous transporting all of that glass for over 15 hours, but all survived the trip.

I was great to see you all. It has been a long time and we hope to see you all again more often.

Momma Crouch: Looking forward to seeing you in October.

Dave C.: Looking forward to crushing in fantasy football.

Aliesha: Hope to see you down here very soon.
